RESERVATIONS

  • When booking we accept payment in full including the tax.
  • A 5% Hotel Tax will be added to your bill.
  • When booking a room guests are required to show photo ID and credit card upon check in. We accept cash, debit and major credit cards
  • The minimum age for check-in is 21 years old
  • Please call for extended stay rates (more than 7 nights)
  • Rates are subject to change without notice
  • Please turn in the key at the Office or in the Key Drop Box upon your departure. There will be a $20/key charge for lost/missing keys
  • We honor those that are active Military, Veterans, First Responders (please show ID) with a 10% discount
  • We offer a variety of Special Rates for; AAA/CAA, Seniors (65+), Group Code & Gift Code

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Cancellations must be received 48 hours prior to check in to avoid being charged for the full reservation. Please cancel by email at info@moteltipton.com to ensure receiving a written cancellation confirmation.
  • Less than 48 hours deposit is Non-Refundable.
  • Please understand we are a small, 13-room boutique motel and cannot afford last minute cancellations.

  • CHECK-IN TIME ~ 4:00 PM If you need to make special arrangements for a later arrival please let us know.  Occasionally we can accommodate an early check-in. Please call or email to confirm. 
  • CHECK-OUT TIME ~ 11:00 AM Please be prompt so your room can be prepared for the next guest.  Occasionally we can accommodate an later check-out.  Please confirm with the Office prior to departure.
  • Quite Hours Observed from 10 PM to 8 AM. 
  • Children are welcome and must be under constant care/supervision while on Motel property.
  • Occupancy for families traveling with children can be accommodated and the room may require an extra bed. We have air mattresses available upon request (we have a limited number of air mattresses, and they are on a “first come, first served” basis). The fee is $25 per night per mattress. Please book in advance so we can prepare the room for your arrival
  • This is a Non-Smoking property and ALL Rooms are Non-Smoking, (including Vape &/or illegal substances). Smoking is only permitted at the Designated Smoking area on Motel Tipton property. There is a $250 fee for smoking near or in a guest room.
  • No Pets Allowed without Prior Permission ~ Please! We have 1 room dedicated for Fido ~ Please see our Pet Policies here.   * An additional fee of $25 per night per Pet (1 dog only) will be charged. 
  • A $250 cleaning fee will be charged to guests if the Room is in a condition requiring significant extra cleaning. 
  • Forgot Something? For your convenience, the front desk has an assortment of personal items like razors, toothbrushes, toothpaste for a nominal fee. 
  • Housekeeping: Please contact the front desk for any housekeeping needs you might have such as; extra towels, blankets, use of an iron/ironing board. 
  • Save Our Planet: Every day millions of gallons of water are used to wash towels and linens that have only been used once.  It is our policy, for extended stay guests to only wash linens once a week unless otherwise arranged with the Manager.  You make the choice…  A towel on the rack means “I will use again”.  A towel on the floor or in the tub/shower means “Please Replace”.  Thank you for helping us conserve the earth’s vital resources! 
  • Lost & Found: Please contact the front desk for any items you may have lost or found. 
  • Please turn off all Lights and Air Conditioner when leaving the Room. 
  • Boot trays have been provided. Please leave muddy or wet footwear on the boot trays. 
  • No burning candles, glade plug-ins, &/or wax burners of any type! A $100 fee will be charged to your credit card on file if any of these items are found in your room.  Essential oil diffusers and battery powered candles are acceptable. 
  • Please only operate the bidet on the toilet when seated. Please only flush toilet paper.  Please dispose of feminine hygiene products, wipes (of any type), paper towels in the trash cans provided. 
  • Boiler Heat ~ when adjusting the thermostat please keep in mind that it takes a while to warm up or to cool down. The boiler heat system in the rooms when in operation will “snap, crackle & pop”…  just like the Owners knees! 
  • No bicycles in the rooms. 

Internet

  • Super Speed WiFi by Cedar Communications is available in all rooms and is free of charge.

Safety & Security:

  • Fire Extinguishers are located on each floor besides the Housekeeping Rooms
  • Security Cameras outside property
  • Security Camera in Office
  • Smoke Alarms in each room
  • Fire Safety: If there is a fire, please exit your room, alert your neighbors, report the fire by dialing 911 and call the Motel Management.  If there is fire in your room, crawl on the floor, fresher air will be at floor level.  Do NOT try to re-enter your room or any area where the fire is present. 
  • Traveler Safety: We strive to provide a safe environment.  However, it’s best to take precaution.  Please, close your room door securely whenever you are in your room and use all locking devices provided.  When returning to your room late in the evening, be observant and look around before entering your room.  Don’t answer the door without verifying who is at your door.  Do not needlessly display guest room keys in public or carelessly leave them on restaurant tables or other places where they could be stolen.  Do not draw attention to yourself by displaying large amounts of cash or jewelry.  Do not invite strangers into your room.  Do not leave valuables in your vehicle.  If you are traveling with children, provide adult supervision and know their whereabouts at all times.  If you see suspicious activity, please report your observations to the Management. 

 Maximum Occupancy:

  • 2 Guests of any age in the Deluxe Single Queen Room(s)
  • 4 Guests of any age in the Deluxe Double Queen  Room(s)
  • 2 Guests of any age in our Deluxe King Room(s) 
  • Additional Guests such as Children are accepted and must be included upon booking. Twin Air Mattresses are available for $25/per guest per room night and it includes linens and towels.
